In a shocking reveal, actress Yashika Anand has reportedly met with a car accident on East Coast Road near Mahabalipuram in Chennai. The former ‘Bigg Boss’ Tamil contestant and a few of her friends have been admitted to a private hospital in the area in serious condition. More details on the same are yet to be confirmed. As of now, it has been noted that the car she was travelling in, went out of control and hit the median, getting heavily damaged and injuring the occupants. Photos are doing rounds on social media that show the black car in a completely mangled state. Yashika’s friend, Valli Chetty Bhavani, who was travelling with her, reportedly died on the spot. The Mahabalipuram police have registered a case and are currently investigating the accident. A report in ETimes has stated that Yashika’s father, upon hearing the accident, immediately rushed from Delhi to Chennai to be with her daughter. She is an established Tamil and Telugu film actress. Yashika made her film debut with ‘Kavalai Vendam.’ She had her breakthrough with Karthick Naren’s thriller ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru.’ Apart from films like ‘Zombie,’ ‘Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu,’ among others, the actress was also a contestant on the second season of ‘Bigg Boss’ Tamil, hosted by Kamal Haasan. She had finished fifth place on the show.
