A quarrel between the two took an ugly turn on Wednesday morning when a retired CRPF person open fire four shots injuring one in Jaithala area under MIDC Police Station.
The accused identified as Ganesh Prasad Gupta a resident of Gudade layout Jaithala is said to be a retired CRPF who open fired four shots injuring one Suraj Khaner.
Suraj was rushed to nearby hospital. After listening to the gunfire, all residents were left shocked.
People in the area informed that multiple shots were fired at 6:20 am in which Khaner was injured. They informed that another person was with Gupta during the incident and after shooting the accused started beating Khaner with other weapons.
In the meantime, MIDC police rushed to the spot and started the investigation.
