Former New Zealand captain John Reid dies at 92

Former New Zealand captain John Reid passed away on Wednesday.�Reid died at the age of 92. John had been battling colon cancer for a long time. He had played 58 Test matches in his international career, in which he scored 3,428 runs and took 85 wickets. He was the team captain in 34 matches out of 58 in his career. ICC shared a post paying tribute to John on Twitter. He was also the national selector and manager of the New Zealand team.

New Zealand great John R Reid has passed away in Auckland, aged 92.

Reid played 58 Tests in a 16-year long international career, scoring 3428 runs and picking up 85 wickets.
