Sankhali: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, on Saturday, inaugurated Arogya Express, a healthcare van for North Goa, at Sankhali, sponsored by Colorcon Asia Private Ltd, a US-based MNC having a unit at Verna industrial estate.
Speaking on the occasion, Sawant said that the people in Goa will now get good health service as the new healthcare van will visit every� town and villages in Goa to check people whether they are affected with any ailment like COVID-19.
â€Å“The healthcare services in Goa are provided free of cost, and despite that some people are bent upon only criticising over the loopholes in such services. People should get rid of such mentality,†he stated.
He said, â€Å“My appeal to people again is to follow the norms properly in order to eliminate coronavirus from the state.â€
He also called upon other companies to undertake social initiatives as being done by Colorcon that will benefit the common people.
Earlier, Sarvesh Parab, HR head of Colorcon briefed about CSR activities of the company and highlighted about bringing healthcare service at the doorstep in villages of Goa.
